There has been lots of activity up in Smallwood with weekenders and Floridians returning and sprucing up their cabins and cottages.  The lake opens in just 2 weeks and we are looking forward to meeting all our friends from last year at the beach.   There have been several bear sightings this season.  Mothers and cubs can be found rooting through bird feeders in the night and these bears are smart because they know when Thursday night rolls around which is the day before garbage pick up.  Keep your cans secured!   Stay tuned for more Smallwood news coming soon.
